Wave Table is a modern interpretation of the traditional craft of in-layed sadaf (mother of pearl). Based on a slab of rosewood and elevated on detachable walnut legs, the table is as a feast for the eyes.

Working on a public furniture installation in North Lebanon, the DAMJ team utilized bent-lamination to construct a curved seating area. Once back in the workshop, we applied the same technique to the design of a sensuous bench made from solid Beech wood.

Composed of a series of uniquely carved solid wood segments of various wood types. Each segment emerges from the previous byway of a slanted half oval joint creating a nun ending sequential gradient of color and texture
Amaranthine Mirror
Built from solid wood, the Scallop celebrates the concept of kerfing that happens through the process of cutting with a particular carving bit. The technique is surprisingly simple while the result is stunning.

Ahmad Khouja
Ahmad leads a multidisciplinary team with extensive experience designing residential, commercial, and high-end interiors. He has a wide array of professional expertise ranging from teaching to the design and implementation stages of major projects. He also had a hand in the conceptualization, modeling, detailing, and execution of some of Lebanon's most remarkable designs. Ahmad holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Structural Engineering from LAU as well as Master's degrees from both Columbia University (MArch) and UC Berkeley (MSFS).
He is a firm believer in the idea that furniture can be used to expand the perception of culture and break social boundaries. With a most holistic approach, he takes into account cultural differences, previous experiences and individual psychological needs to influence the outcome of his creative projects. His diverse background, combining experience in both the architectural realm and in the design industry, allows him to provide a fresh perspective on spaces and provide relevant solutions for people's lifestyles.

Designed from the inspiration of a thin slab of wood intersected by lathed legs using wedged locking pins, the Slender desk celebrates minimalism through it’s joinery and detailing.
Slender Desk
Designed for a client’s privacy needs, the Ephemera screen is a play of perforation and gradient. The hexagonal motif appears and dissolves from one side of the screen to the other, creating variations of porosity, light and views.

The Amoeba tables form a complementary pair of coffee tables that can be placed together or used separately. The design stems from the intersection of two circles with sculpted bases milled from Beech wood, receiving lathed Walnut legs with sturdy dimensions.
AMOEBA TABLES
The Fatehpur lamp is named for the great Masjid of Fatehpur, India. The pattern is altered to create a distorted gradient of shapes from top to bottom. The piece is carved from solid Beechwood.
